We would love to hear
from you!

This service has been presented by BioTe21 as follows:

We offer you the most accurate, anonymous DNA forensic tests, consanguinity analysis and genetic identification, all performed  routinely in our  BioTe21 Lab, on 15-19 STRs (highest accuracy on the  market),  up to 41 STRs (including chomosome Y analysis) in 10 work-days. There is also a possibility to perform tests on the basis of highly  degraded biological micro-traces, thanks to our unique (in Poland) mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) technology.

The offered genetic comparative analysis are performed using the widely recognized and acclaimed technologies of genetic identification, based on STRs genotyping, such as AmpFISTR Identifiler PCR Amplification Kit,  PowerPlex ES Monoplex System and/or mitochondrial DNA sequencing.

We would like to present the most accurate genetic paternity tests, relationship tests and genetic identification tests that we perform in our laboratory located in the building of Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology of Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland.

Thanks to the analysis of 15-19 independent somatic STR markers, we are able to exclude paternity with the probability of 100% and to confirm this with the statistic probability verging on certainty.

The  sample for family relationship testing is a simple and pain-free buccal smear. There is no need for blood taking as DNA sequence found in cells of oral cavity mucous membrane is identical with the DNA in blood cells. Buccal smear is a perfect source of onsiderable amount of DNA needed for family relationship testing. When genetic identification involves microtraces the sample genetic material could be a uprooted hair, visible and dry stain of blood or sperm or other substance of  human origin, a used up tissue, soother, toothbrush and etc.

However, in case of examinations required for judicial purposes, it is necessary to conduct an officially-recorded sampling of the biological material. We are waiting for you in BioTe21 Genetic Identification Laboratory,  which is located at the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University. It is where we conduct all genetic analyses (we do not send such tests to abroad laboratories, thus we are sure of strictly enforced confidentiality of all examinations’ results).genetic testing biote21
